July is when Morgan County turns it all the way up. From a three-day rodeo and a hometown Fourth of July parade to the biggest free music festival in the region, the calendar is packed with reasons to get out, gather up the family and make a summer memory. Here is your guide to the can’t-miss events happening across the county this month.
Brush Rodeo: July 2, 3 and 4
Every Fourth of July, Brush is home to one of the most exciting rodeos you will find anywhere. The Brush Rodeo brings three full days of cowboy and cowgirl action to the Morgan County Fairgrounds, including bronc riding, barrel racing, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and crowd-favorite Mutton Bustin’. Add in a free BBQ, Little Princess rides, a beer garden and fireworks to close it all out, and you have a true Western Independence Day celebration. It all happens July 2 through 4 at the Morgan County Fairgrounds in Brush.
Brush Fourth of July Parade
Before the rodeo action heats up, downtown Brush fills with red, white and blue for the Brush Fourth of July Parade. Floats, classic cars, tractors, wagons, business entries and walking groups roll through the streets for a hometown celebration of Independence Day. It is the kind of small-town parade that brings the whole community out to the curb. Registration and entry details from the Brush Area Chamber of Commerce will be posted as the date approaches.
Movie on the Park

Movie on the Park lands Friday, July 3 at Jackson Lake State Park.
Carnival games and a giant inflatable obstacle course run from 5 to 8 pm by the Shoreline Marina, free with your parks pass or Keep Colorado Wild pass.
Then at 8:30, The Goonies lights up a big LED screen. Bring chairs and snacks and enjoy the nostalgia on the 250th anniversary weekend.
Bobstock Music Festival: July 10 and 11

The party does not stop after the holiday weekend. Bobstock Music Festival, the biggest free festival in the region, returns to Glenn Miller Park in Fort Morgan on July 10 and 11. Spend a summer weekend outdoors with live music and activities for the whole family. The 2026 headliners are Color Me Badd on Friday and Night Ranger on Saturday, and admission is completely free.
Thursday Night Live at Glenn Miller Park

Thursday Night Live brings free live music, food and entertainment to Glenn Miller Park in Fort Morgan on Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. The July lineup keeps the summer going with D’Lovelies on July 23, featuring a Big Gift Card Giveaway before the show, and Mini Kiss on July 30, with Hawkquest Birds of Prey for a pre-concert event. Check the Thursday Night Live Facebook page for the full 2026 schedule.
