Downtown Fort Morgan hands out candy on Halloween itself. The day opens with a free movie at the Cover Theatre, and the trick or treating moves out to Main Street once the credits roll.

10:00 a.m. Cover Theatre doors open for the free Halloween movie matinee, sponsored by the City of Fort Morgan.

12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Businesses line the 200 and 300 blocks of Main Street for trick or treating.

Know Before You Go

The movie is free and the candy is on Main Street, so the whole morning and early afternoon are covered in one trip downtown. The route runs two blocks and is flat, which makes it manageable for small children. Costumes are the point, so wear one.

Brush holds its own Trick or Treat Street the night before, on Friday, October 30, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Clayton Street. You can do both.
