Silver Spur Campground

Campground is for adults only (21+) for out of area workers. You must plan to be here a month or longer. Do NOT accept locals from here or surrounding towns, remote workers, or anyone not coming here to work. Catered specifically to workers, as they are unable to obtain traditional housing. Main clientele is oilfield, construction and linemen.

Camper must be in good shape (no broken windows, etc.), and our age limit is 12 years. Campers accepted are Class A, Class C, travel trailers and fifth wheels. We do not allow hybrids, popups, Class B, conversion vans, pickup campers, cargo trailers/flatbed trailers or tents.

Rent is $625 for 30 amp campers, and $650 for 50 amp campers, and covers 2 adults for water, sewer and electricity, 2 parking spaces, the site and unlimited fishing. Extra adults are $50 per month per person, and we allow 4 people maximum per camper, and 2 vehicles. Dogs are $5.00 per month per dog (no breed restrictions). $100 damage deposit to reserve your site for up to 7 days.

Campground very quiet for our workers, so no parties, and no outside lights after 10 pm. Quiet hours are from 9pm-8am. Sites must be kept clean, with no trash bags, bins, animal waste, tires or extra junk around them. BBQs (charcoal or propane, no firewood unless used in a smoker), chairs, outdoor rugs, coolers and a table are allowed. You may also fly flags, provided they’re not offensive. No wood fire pits. Only propane.

Our large lake is for resident fishing only, and you do not need to have a Colorado fishing license (campground has commercial lake license). There is no swimming or watercraft allowed.

If your camper does not fit, Animals are always welcome here (no breed restrictions) provided you pick up after them, they’re leashed at all times, and do not bark excessively.

Each site wired for cable internet that you can subscribe to, if you choose. Large propane tanks are also available at each site, which you can use immediately upon providing your name and payment info to the propane company. We will then bring you a hose. No bathhouses or laundry facilities.
